Our approach
Why we do not use templates
A template is built for nobody in particular. The same design has to suit a florist, a solicitor and a garage, which means it suits none of them properly. You end up rearranging your business to fit the website instead of the other way round.
Building from scratch takes longer. It also means the site says what your business actually does, in the order your customers need it, and it is not carrying code for features you will never switch on. That is most of the reason a custom site loads faster than a themed one.
It also means we know exactly how it is put together. When you ask for a change, we can just make it.
The process
What working with our web design studio looks like
Four stages, and you are involved in every one of them.
You see the design early
You look at the design and say what is wrong with it while it is still cheap and easy to change.
We build, you review
The site gets built, you go through it properly, and anything that is not right gets fixed before it goes anywhere near live.
We stay on afterwards
Maintenance keeps it updated, backed up and secure, and changes get handled as they come up rather than piling into a rebuild.
